Marion Ano (vocals, guitar, percussion)is from a strong musical Hawaiian family. Marion's songwriting and beautiful voice have expanded Kahuli's sound greatly. Marion is knowledgeable about fishponds, works with youth, and has almost completed a second Master's degree in Hawaiian Language. Look for Marion's new song, "Bumbye", on the upcoming Kahuli CD. It is a hopeful piece with beautiful, breezy chords that had to come from the Ko'olau Mountains, with a message about hanging strong together and supporting one another as brothers and sisters!
